Competition Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over (or under 18 with parent/guardian consent).

How to Enter
1.1 To enter the Competition, participants must:
– Scan the QR code(s) available at participating locations of Hatty’s Sweet Shop or Quest.
– Tag @hattyssweetshop and @spiritual_quest on Instagram in a post or story.
– Complete the sign-up to the newsletter to receive a discount code (this is optional but required to receive the 15% off offer).
1.2 Entries must be submitted via Instagram, with tags visible to the public.
1.3 Entries will only be valid if they comply with all the entry requirements outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
1.4 Multiple entries from a single participant are allowed, but each must meet the criteria individually (ie. only 1 post per account will be considered for entry).

Prize
2.1 The prize is a £50 voucher, which can be used either at Hatty’s Sweet Shop or Quest.
2.2 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
2.3 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
2.4 The voucher will be sent via email or physical post to the winner, as per their preference.

Newsletter Sign-Up & Discount Code
3.1 Participants who sign up for the newsletter via the QR code will receive a 15% discount on their next purchase at Hatty’s Sweet Shop or Quest.
3.2 The discount code will be sent to the email address provided during sign-up.
3.3 The discount code is valid both in-store and online.
3.4 The discount cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions.
3.5 The discount is valid for 60 days from the date of issue, and can only be used on one purchase.

Winner Selection & Notification
4.1 The winner will be selected randomly from all valid entries after the Competition closing date.
4.2 The winner will be notified by Instagram DM or via the email provided within 7 working days after the closing date.
4.3 If the winner does not respond to the notification within 5 days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected.

Competition Period
5.1 The Competition will run from 20th November 2024 until 6th January 2025.
5.2 Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered valid.

Eligibility
6.1 The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or older (or under 18 with parental/guardian consent).
6.2 Employees of Hatty’s Sweet Shop, Quest are not eligible to enter the Competition.
6.3 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions.

Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data by Hatty’s Sweet Shop and Quest for the purpose of administering the Competition, selecting the winner, and providing the prize.
7.2 Personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or for the purpose of administering the Competition.
7.3 Participants may opt-out of receiving future marketing communications by following the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or contacting the Organiser directly.

Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur as a result of participation in the Competition or the use of the prize.
8.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any issues related to the technical aspects of the Competition (e.g., failures to tag correctly on Instagram, failure to receive the newsletter, etc.).

General
9.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
9.2 The Organiser’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.3 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
